Intelligence in the financial technology industry.
I am very passionate about Computer Science
with a specific focus on AI which is demonstrated by my intellectual pursuit
both personally from online platforms and courses, and academically at a postgraduate level.
I also like to read papers in my spare time to keep abreast of the status quo in the field.
Furthermore, I believe that a healthy mind calls for a healthy body, hence when im not staring at

As a full-time research engineer at Sankore Investments, I worked with their subsidiary (Wealth.ng) to develop solutions to allow investing on popular messaging platforms.

Working as an intern in the innovation team for 2 years rotating around the fund management team and the software team to implement systems in the fintech space.
BEng Mechanical Engineering Student
I studied mechanical engineering at an undergraduate level where i applied principles of physics and engineering science to analyse, design, develop and maintain mechanical systems.
Backend Frameworks and Technologies
3+ years experience working with web frameworks in Java (Spring Web framework), Python (Django, Flask) and JavaScript (Express) for developing full stack applications and implementing RestFul APIs and Microservices.
Frontend Development
I have developed static websites using HTML, CSS, Vanilla Javascript as well as dynamic websites using web frameworks in combination with template engines like Jinja, Pug, and ejs.
Databases and Storage
I have created applications leveraging SQL databases (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB). I have also worked with cloud storage technologies like amazon S3.
Artificial Intelligence
Over the past 3+ years, I have worked with systems leveraging natural language processing (chat bots), and Computer Vision techniques(image recognition and processing systems).
Data Analytics
I have worked with SPSS and Tableau for data mining, analysis and visualization of large datasets. I have also used libraries like d3.js and Plotly for more low level and finely detailed implementations of graphical content
Others
I have experience working with debian linux systems. I am also well versed in using server systems like (ubuntu server), and shell systems like BASH. Furthermore, i have experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and TeamCity.
